Our Purpose
The purpose of North Fresno Church is to glorify God by introducing others to Jesus Christ, serving people in need, and helping each other follow him in our daily lives.
A visionary and vibrant faith has been at the heart of the ministry of North Fresno Church from its beginning. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment are blueprints for our ministry as a church. Jesus Christ commanded the church to make disciples of all people, to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to teach them to obey everything he taught (Matthew 28:19-20). Jesus also said that we are to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).
These two things - worshipping God and joining him on mission - shape who we are and all that we do.
