Community Ministries
We believe God has called us to be a witness to and serve the immediate neighborhood around our church. Over the last 40 years, there have been many opportunities to build relationships in our neighborhood and be involved in community transformation in the name of Jesus.
Christian Community Development Team
In response to the emerging Christian Community Development Team (CCDT), we have created Fresno Area Community Enterprises to oversee and address the expanding needs and opportunities, and the numerous ministries that are forming to respond to them in the name of Jesus. Other ministries and programs in our Community Ministries
SART (Social Action Response Team) - a team that responds to the urgent needs of individuals and families in our church and neighborhood.
March2Manhood - a mentoring ministry for preteen guys, this program allows for weekly discipleship and leadership training as well as day trips and other outings to expand their horizons.
Sports Club - a weekly club for preteen guys and girls. They meet on Tuesday afternoons at the church or the local park, depending on the sport for the week. Contact the church office to confirm time and location for the week.
Tutoring Club - a weekly club for guys and girls, grades 2 - 6. Tutoring club meets on Wednesday afternoons at NFC. Activities and dinner are provided for those staying all afternoon until our Wednesday evening programs, which begin at 7:00 p.m.
Teen Boys Basketball - a weekly pickup game for the teens from NFC and surrounding neighborhood.
Good News Club - a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, volunteers from NFC host an after school Good News Club each week at Robinson Elementary, our local elementary school.

Vacation Bible School will be held June 17-21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each morning.
