We believe that “church” should be
enjoyable as a family and we like to offer children the opportunity to
experience the worship service with the family. We also know that children have
shorter attention spans than adults, so we offer a Children’s Church part-way
through our services. Children age 3 through 2nd grade have the option of
attending Children’s Church on the 1st floor of our Educational Building. They hear a Bible story, do a
craft/coloring page, play games, and lots more.
So, how does it all work? During the
worship service, we’ll let you know when it’s time for the children to be
dismissed for Children’s Church. In the 1st Service, they meet in
Room 101. In the 2nd Service, they meet in either Room 101, 102, or
103 depending on their age. When you walk them to their class, be sure to sign
them in and get a wristband. During the 2nd Service, they rotate
between the classrooms, and you will pick them up in an adjacent classroom to
where they started. After the worship service, you may sign them out in that
classroom and return your wristband.
BLAST is for 3rd,
4th, 5th and 6th graders during the
2nd Service! BLAST meets up on the 2nd floor of the
Educational
Building in Room 208. These
students are dismissed during the last part of the service to enjoy a time
targeted just for them. We’ll indicate when it’s time for them to be dismissed
in the worship service.
