Welcome to The Rock — a youth group built on the unshakable foundation of Jesus Christ. Our name is inspired by the many places in the Bible where Jesus is referred to as a rock, symbolizing strength, stability, and refuge. In 1 Corinthians 10:4, Scripture declares, “the rock was Christ,” reminding us that Jesus is our spiritual foundation and the source of living water. Just as a rock stands firm against the storms, we believe a life rooted in Jesus provides unwavering hope and direction. At The Rock, we seek to grow in our faith, build meaningful friendships, and stand strong together as we follow the One who is our fortress and salvation.
Wednesday Nights at The Rock are all about connection, growth, and having fun—all centered around Jesus. Each week kicks off with open gym time, giving everyone a chance to hang out, play, and build friendships. After that, we enjoy a free dinner together—because community grows best around the table. The night continues with games and activities that bring laughter and unity, followed by a time of worship where we lift up the name of Jesus, our Rock and foundation. Then we dive into a message rooted in Scripture, focused on helping us know Jesus more and live out our faith. We finish the night in small group discussions, where we get real, ask questions, and encourage each other in our journey as disciples. Whether you're just checking things out or looking to go deeper in your walk with Christ, Wednesday nights at The Rock are a place to belong, grow, and stand strong together.
CURRENT TEACHING SERIES: From Eden to Eternity
Our current teaching series traces the Bible’s biggest moments in the Bible from the first pages of Genesis to the final hope of Revelation. Each week we’ll trace the true story of the world: creation, the fall, God’s covenant promises, deliverance, kings and prophets, exile and return, and the arrival of Jesus—the King who defeats Satan, sin, and death. This isn’t a collection of random stories; it’s one epic storyline of a faithful God rescuing and renewing his people. And as we follow the thread from the Garden to the City, we’ll discover where we fit in the story—and what it means to live as citizens of God’s kingdom right now.
